Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines (Travel Editions Tour)

A must for any aircraft enthusiast, this three day tour explores the story of two historic aerodromes, Shuttleworth Old Warden and Duxford, operated by the Imperial War Museum. This unique weekend includes a short flight on board a famous 1930s plane – a De Havilland DH 89 Dragon Rapide.

The ‘De Havilland Heritage Trail’ at Hatfield Aerodrome

Developed in 2010, this trail is made up of 10 trail boards around the De Havilland aerodrome site, starting at the original Beacon and finishing at the Flight Test Hangar. The full trail is about 4kms long and takes approx 90 minutes to walk, the shorter trail option is about 3kms long and takes approx 60 minutes to walk.
